First quilt attempted. Made because I needed something to go over my bed.
Polycotton fabric, polyester wadding. Machine pieced, tied in the center with embroidery thread, machine quilted borders.
Name originates from the fact that it was the first quilt made and is therefore the ancestor of all my other quilts.
